SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Films not to exceed 60 seconds in length (excluding credits)

Multiple submissions are welcome (3 per entry form)

Must be original work

Must be broadcast quality. Films will be projected onto a large
outdoor screen. Hi-res NTSC Quicktime OR Quicktime PAL
files are required

Film file(s) should be named “artists last name_name of film.mov”

Lumen Eclipse reserves the right to refuse any entry at it’s
own discretion

Submitted work must not contain obscene, sexually explicit,
unlawful or objectionable material, as we are a public venue

Content created to promote any product or service
(i.e. television commercial) will not be accepted

Entry fee is $10 (US Dollars) per film - up to 3 films can be submitted per entry form totaling $30 (US Dollars).

JUDGING

Judging of the submissions will take place in late August 2008 by a panel of art professionals selected by Lumen Eclipse (see  JURY ).


AND THE WINNER IS…

The award recipients will be announced the evening of the event. Winners in attendance will receive their awards at the festival (draft those acceptance speeches!) Winners not in attendance that night will receive their award via mail. Awards will also be announced online the day after the festival.


ORIGINALITY

All one-minute films must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. If the film contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to the submission of the film, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use.


BALLYHOO

By participating in this Film Festival, entrants agree that Lumen Eclipse is authorized to display and archive the films on the Le60.org + LumenEclipse.com sites as well as on any and all other media in connection with the Film Festival.

By participating in the Film Festival, entrants grant permission to Lumen Eclipse to use their names, likenesses, films, stills, and/or biographical information for any and all advertising, publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Film Festival.


TECHNICAL STUFF

Lumen Eclipse is not responsible for technical failures of any kind or any problems or delays arising from any technical, software or equipment malfunctions, computer viruses, congestion or unavailability of the Le60.org during the Festival Period, any other technical, equipment or human errors of any kind, or any damage or alteration to your film that may occur in connection with the uploading or display of the film.
